Who We Are:
Australian Premium Student Accommodation is an independent provider of shared accommodation for young adults in Melbourne, Australia. We opened in 2004 and housed tens of international and Australian students and young adults since then.
Vera Jancik is the business owner. Originally from the Czech Republic, she has been living in Melbourne since 1992. She is a mother to an adult son, professional management consultant, business owner and investor.

What We Do:
We have been providing shared accommodation in Melbourne since 2004. Gradually, we have learned about all sorts of needs our overseas tenants have outside their study responsibilities. It starts from finding their way around Melbourne, experiencing often for the very first time independence from their families and all the responsibilities that come along with that, homesickness, feeling overwhelmed and confused by the new environment, culture and customs.
Over time we have become more than just an accommodation provider. We function as a mentor to people who are new in Melbourne or in Australia.
We also gained lots of knowledge and experience with organizing and running a shared accommodation house, and all the ups and downs that come with it. We have helped a number of investors to set up their own shared accommodation house.
Why We Do It:
Why? It all comes from Vera’s personality and passion for paying it forward. She comes from a different cultural background herself. When she first came to Australia, she was very fortunate with help she received from a complete stranger who has become her best friend. I’d better leave Vera to tell you herself.
